Louisiana Gang Related Drive By Shooting In Bernice Leaves One Victim Shot Multiple Times As Four Suspects Are Accused


gang related drive by shooting in Bernice, Louisiana has now led to three arrests, while deputies say a fourth suspect is still on the run and considered armed and dangerous.


According to the Union Parish Sheriff’s Office, the shooting happened in April 2026 inside the city limits of Bernice. Investigators say multiple people opened fire in a residential area, putting children and others nearby in danger.

Deputies said one person was struck by gunfire multiple times, but the injuries were described as non life threatening. The shooting also caused property damage in the area.


As the investigation continued, deputies identified four suspects believed to be connected to the attack. Arrest warrants were obtained for all four.


The three suspects now in custody are 18 year old Broderick Eugene Nute III of Ruston, 18 year old Antonio Montez Traylor of Marion, and 19 year old Cameron Jace Hill of Farmerville.


All three are facing attempted first degree murder, 10 counts of assault by drive by shooting, illegal use of weapons, aggravated criminal damage to property, and charges connected to criminal street gang activity.

Nute’s bond was set at $775,000. Antonio Traylor’s bond was set at $875,000. Hill’s bond was set at $925,000.


Deputies are still searching for 17 year old Tyreon Terrell Traylor of Farmerville. He is wanted on the same charges, including attempted first degree murder and 10 counts of assault by drive by shooting.


Authorities said Tyreon Traylor is known to frequent the Farmerville and Bernice areas. The Union Parish Sheriff’s Office warned that he should be considered armed and dangerous.


The case remains under investigation as deputies continue trying to locate the fourth suspect and determine the full circumstances surrounding the shooting.
