At approximately 4:15 p.m. on July 8, 2025, a shooting was reported at a home on Bayview Drive in Ferguson, Missouri. Kcoree Warren, a 44-year-old father who had reported allegations involving his teenage daughter, was taken from the residence to a hospital and pronounced dead. A white Kia was reportedly seen leaving the property.

In 2017, a nighttime gathering in St. Louis ended with more than 100 rounds fired into one vehicle. One man was killed, another escaped, and the exact location of the attack was never publicly identified in the records reviewed.

On October 25, 2020, 20-year-old Jerry Chambers Jr. was killed near the 8400 block of Plaza Rock Court in north St. Louis County. Another 20-year-old man survived.

Months later, Montez Smith and Jamond Welch were charged with second-degree murder, attempted first-degree robbery, and armed criminal action.

But the charging documents described something far more specific than a random double shooting.

Between January 10 and January 18, 2016, St. Louis investigators were dealing with a tight eight-day stretch that would later become part of a much larger indictment. The public headlines only gave the outline: multiple shooting scenes, four victims, and a timeline that moved fast enough for detectives to start looking beyond one isolated incident.

The federal case against Maurice “M1” Lee’s organization did not begin as a murder prosecution. Investigators were following an interstate supply line that moved bulk fentanyl and crystal methamphetamine from Arizona into St. Louis.

Anthony “TT” Jordan’s case is one of the heaviest St. Louis federal files tied to drugs, retaliation, and murder. What started as a cocaine trafficking investigation eventually turned into a case involving multiple killings, a cartel-connected supply line, and a federal trial that ended with Jordan receiving life in prison.

When federal prosecutors unsealed the superseding indictment against the group known as the “Strikers,” they did not describe the organization as a normal auto theft crew.

The 55 Boyz case is one of the strongest St. Louis federal files because prosecutors did not frame it like a random drug sweep. They described it as a south St. Louis gang and drug trafficking organization built around rappers, fentanyl sales, firearms, money, and violence along the Interstate 55 corridor. The case started publicly in 2022, when federal prosecutors announced that St. Louis rappers and others had been indicted on fentanyl conspiracy and gun charges, with Davante “Jizzlebuckz” Lindsey and Andre “Luh Half” Pearson identified as leaders of the 55 Boyz organization.
