On April 21, 2017, Aramani “Arow” Horton and another young man were recorded moving through Parkway Gardens toward 6514 South King Drive. Upstairs, a cannabis seller had already received four calls from an unfamiliar number arranging a small transaction. The final caller said he was waiting downstairs.

At 7:00:27 p.m., both men entered the building.

At 7:06:20 p.m., only one was recorded leaving.

The Doorway Reconstruction

The meeting ended at a damaged door near the first-floor west stairwell. Witnesses described two men positioned on one side, a cannabis seller on the other and a long silver revolver pushed through the opening as the transaction collapsed into a struggle.
