Reporting and analysis may discuss allegations and online theories. Allegations are not findings of guilt. Verify important details in the cited public record.
Preview Case File

This preview needs to feel like the reader just cracked open a locked homicide archive that most people never actually get to see. The goal is not to give away the entire investigation. The goal is to make them feel like they are standing right outside the door of the real file.
The layout should immediately open with the Zo photo darkened slightly with grain and shadow over it. Behind him should be faded layers of the actual arrest report, the Martin Luther King Drive crime scene diagram, and blurred sections of the autopsy chart. Keep the paperwork partially readable so viewers can recognize it is real documentation, but blur the most important portions enough that it feels “restricted.”
At the top, use a strong title:
“THE MURDER OF ZO”“THE EYEWITNESS CASE BEHIND THE BRUH BRUH RUMORS”
Underneath that, place a red “PREVIEW FILE” stamp slightly tilted like a detective archive stamp.
The first visible section should be called:
What This Premium File Contains

Then show partially blurred preview panels of everything included in the full case file.
Panel one should show the arrest report breakdown graphic with certain sections highlighted in red. Leave the victim name, charge, and eyewitness wording readable, but blur sections underneath. Put a lock icon over the lower half.
Panel two should show the crime scene location diagram. Make the aerial street map visible with evidence markers and shell casing numbers, but blur the exact evidence notes and investigator annotations. Add yellow “EVIDENCE LOCKED” tape across the bottom corner.
Panel three should show the ballistics diagram preview. Let people see the shell casing photos, IBIS comparison section, and firearm analysis labels, but blur the microscopic comparison notes and analyst sections.
Panel four should show the autopsy report diagram preview. Keep it clean and non-graphic. Let the body chart outline and cause-of-death section remain visible while blurring the internal examination and investigative notes.
Then underneath all of that, hit them with a strong paragraph preview:
“Inside the released homicide paperwork, Chicago detectives claimed eyewitnesses positively identified Kenyada Clair as the shooter responsible for Lorenzo ‘Zo’ Beasley’s murder on South Martin Luther King Drive. But the deeper readers go into the case, the stranger the investigation becomes. The homicide file references lineup reports, witness sections, morgue documentation, investigative alerts, subpoena activity, and months of continued detective movement after the original arrest. Years later, Reddit discussions and Chicago drill forums exploded with rumors involving Bruh Bruh, Dome, THF, O’Block, and alleged cooperation claims that still divide people online today.”
Then stop the preview before getting too deep.
After that paragraph, place a blurred screenshot collage of the Reddit comments discussing Bruh Bruh rumors and eyewitness claims. Put dark blur bars over usernames and partial text so it feels like leaked investigation discussion.
Then place a section called:
