Texas 10 Most Wanted Bloods Gang Member Captured In Austin After Police Pursuit

AUSTIN, TEXAS — A documented Bloods gang member who had been listed among Texas’ 10 Most Wanted fugitives is back in custody after authorities tracked him down in Austin and arrested him following a vehicle pursuit.

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, 32 year old Devonshae Aikeis Fisher was taken into custody on May 21 after allegedly refusing to stop for law enforcement officers during a traffic stop attempt near MoPac Expressway and 45th Street in Austin. Authorities said Austin police officers and Texas Highway Patrol troopers were involved in the pursuit before Fisher was ultimately arrested.

DPS identified Fisher as a documented member of the Bloods street gang and said he had been wanted since July 2024 for violating parole. The parole violation stemmed from a 2021 conviction in Bexar County for unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon. Court records show he was sentenced to five years in prison in that case before being released on parole in April 2023.

Authorities also revealed that Fisher was facing additional legal troubles outside of Texas. In March 2025, warrants were issued for him in McClain County, Oklahoma, on allegations including bail jumping, failure to appear, and acquiring proceeds from drug activity.

His criminal history extends back even further. DPS said Fisher was convicted in federal court in 2012 of possession with intent to distribute cocaine base. He was sentenced to 30 months in federal prison in that case.

At the time of his arrest, Fisher was one of the fugitives featured on the Texas 10 Most Wanted list. State officials had offered a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to his capture. However, DPS said his arrest did not result from a Crime Stoppers tip, meaning no reward payment will be issued.

Authorities have not released additional details about the pursuit itself, but DPS confirmed that Fisher is now in custody and no longer listed among Texas’ most wanted fugitives. The case remains part of ongoing efforts by state and local law enforcement agencies to locate and arrest violent offenders and parole violators across Texas.
